Code enforcement Q&A: *May 12*

The Historic Poplar Lawn Association will be holding a meeting Monday May 12, 7pm, in the basement meeting room of the library at Sycamore and Marshall. In attendance will be a city representative to discuss code enforcement concerns. Neighbors are invited to bring the addresses of problematic vacant houses that they would like addressed.

HPLA calls for Poplar Lawn to be named a ‘Drug Free Zone’

In an open letter addressed to, among others, the police chief, city manager, city attorney, commonwealth attorney, and Del. Dance, Phil Cheney of the Historic Poplar Lawn Association calls for Poplar Lawn to be named a ‘Drug Free Zone’. The letter reads as follows:
