Upcoming regional Democratic events

Text of an email in the inbox, originally sent by the President of the Metro Richmond Area Young Democrats:

The Virginia Partisans event announced for this Saturday has been MOVED to October 11:
Due to forecasted weather conditions (Hurricane related) for this coming weekend, the meeting scheduled for September 6 in Richmond has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 11. This may be even better as you may realize that October 11 is National Coming Out Day. What a great day to come out and get involved in those who run for public office who support our community!
When: Saturday, October 11
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Where: Gay Community Center of Richmond, 1407 Richmond Avenue

Saturday, September 6: Hanover Democratic Committee Meeting/Breakfast
9am – 10:30am, Ashland Coffee and Tea, 100 North Railroad Ave, Ashland, VA

Sunday, September 7: RCDC Picnic
Forest Hill Park (park entrance at Forest Hill Avenue and West 41st Street)
2pm - 4:30pm
$10 per person
We hope you can join us at a picnic for all Richmond Democrats and friends. Join fellow Democrats, enjoy the late summer weather and discuss our exciting campaigns in Richmond and across Virginia this year. Talk to friends who attended the DNC convention in Denver, or share your experiences if you were there. This is a family-friendly location and we’ll have plenty of food to grill. Tickets are $10 per person and are available at the event. Please RSVP to communications@richmonddemocrats.org

Tuesday, September 9: MRAYD Meeting
Our monthly MRAYD meeting (second Tuesday of each month) will be next Tuesday, September 9, at 7pm at Baja Bean, 1520 W Main St
Please come join us!

Saturday, September 13: Mark Warner Pig Roast
Join Mark Warner and his family for good food and great politics at the FREE Warner-Collins Pig Roast in King George, 12:30pm – 4:30pm
RSVP by THIS SATURDAY, 9/6 if you’re interested in going.
