1/2 Way to Mardi Gras Celebration
To mark the 1/2-way point to Mardi Gras, this Friday (August 8, from 7pm to 10pm) Java Mio will be serving up Po’boys, cajun specialities, and king cake, to be complemented by a wine tasting presented by Cooper’s Vineyard and music by Shadee. In addition, the walls will feature photographs by Tom Peterson.
Java Mio is located at 322 N. Sycamore St. in Petersburg.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM wonder if they are gonna be fried shrimp or fried clam po’boy sammiches….hmmmm hmmmmm I love those!!!!!!
Wait…I’m from the South…pretty much anything is good when it’s fried….right? Just ask Paula Deen =)
I am pretty sure it’s going to be shrimp Po’ Boys.
There is nothing like a really good *oyster* po’boy. Incidentally, my wife tells me I’m from too far south to be a southerner. And I really do know good cajun food when I taste it.
