Book reading @ Minerva Books by Ella E. Schneider Hilton

During this month’s Friday For the Arts! (August 8), Minerva Books will host author Ella E. Schneider Hilton, who will read from and discuss her book entitled Displaced Person. The gripping and universally relevant book “chronicles Hilton’s remarkable childhood–one that took her from the purges of Stalinist Russia to the refugee camps of Nazi and postwar Germany to the cotton fields of Jim Crow Mississippi before finally granting her access to the American dream.”

Ms. Hilton will sign copies of the book after her reading. If you’d like a signed copy but can’t make the reading, please email kristy AT minervabooks.net so that Kristy can save a copy for you.

Note that Minerva Books will also be open during the reading for casual browsers and shoppers.

The reading begins at 7:30 pm.

Minerva Books is located at 233 Bartow Alley. For directions, click here.
