Intercultural Festival, July 26 & 27
The Phoenix Project (www.phoenixproject.org) is proud to partner with Petersburg Commonwealth’s Attorney Cassandra Stroud-Burns for the 5th Annual Petersburg Intercultural Festival. This year’s festival is planned for Saturday, July 26 (10am - 5pm) and Sunday, July 27 (Noon - 5pm), at Poplar Lawn Park in Petersburg. There will be a wide array of musical performers and activities for kids of all ages. It promises to be a great event. For more information about the event, click here.

Hello,
I’d like to get more information on this event, however the “click here” link is not working. Is there another link that provides this information (i.e. types of artists, vendors, sponsors, activities, etc.) Thank you.
Hm… the ‘click here’ link above is working from my computer. Is anyone else having an issue with that link?
Meanwhile, here’s the link’s url: http://picpetersburg.com/
I can’t using IE 7, I get something about Red Hat Linux test page and it has this:
If you are a member of the general public:
The fact that you are seeing this page indicates that the website you just visited is either experiencing problems, or is undergoing routine maintenance.
If you would like to let the administrators of this website know that you’ve seen this page instead of the page you expected, you should send them e-mail. In general, mail sent to the name “webmaster” and directed to the website’s domain should reach the appropriate person.
For example, if you experienced problems while visiting http://www.example.com, you should send e-mail to “webmaster@example.com”.
For information on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, please visit the Red Hat, Inc. website. The documentation for Red Hat Enterprise Linux is available on the Red Hat, Inc. website.

Side note - get the same thing with your link B.
I get a “test” page stating that the site either has problems or is undergoing routine maintenance.
Weird. Thanks for bringing to our attention. I’ll see if I can copy/paste some of the info to here.
Ok, I think that they are doing some updating on their end. Just in case, I will contact one of the organizing partners with a head’s up, and also for a schedule and such to post here.
That’s wierd because yesterday I had no problem accessing the site.
Found this if it’s helpful:

Hi. I’m out of town this weekend. Did anyone go? In past years attendance was close to zero and it shut down early on Saturday and didn’t open on Sunday. What’s it like this year? Maybe more people will show since it moved from the Sports Complex?
I think pretty well attended (a couple hundred or so when I was there mid afternoon). And coverage in the RTD was great.
BTW– the RTD story above has a link to a slideshow. Outstanding images of the performers and crowd; check it out.
I was there both days - very good event. Really enjoyed the variety of music on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
I was out of town and missed it also. Sigh. Regarding the links not working — we had someone write in about the OT Civic Center’s page. The admission rates did not show up for them on their computer, though they are there, plain as day, for most other viewers. She went to another computer and COULD see the admission prices??? The viewer uses AOL, which may be the issue? Any commonality there with AOL users and non-working links? Very odd.
When one person sees webpage information and another does not, then there are typically two possible causes.
In one case, the user’s browser has enabled a setting that restricts certain activities by the webpage. For example, I have pop-ups disabled on my browser. If a website uses a pop-up to display some information, I won’t see it until I take some action that overrides my settings. My guess is that a fair number of users are unaware of this or do not know how to effect this override.
In the second case, the developer of the webpage has not adequately tested the webpage across a range of browsers (Mozilla based browsers, Mac browsers, Explorer, etc.). It seems that a lot of webpage developers either do not know to do this or do not take the time to do so.
