   Petersburg is now at its usual unemployment rate.

   As far as catalytic converters are concerned, the are full of platinum group metals. Platinum, palladium and rhodium in particular.

   If high maintenance women were inclined to take science courses, they’d demand someone buy them a rhodium ring, since it is much more expensive than platinum. Platinum itself has gone up so much in value that jewelers are trying to get the fashion-conscious interested in palladium, since it looks like platinum, but is cheaper (for jewelry-makers.)

   I’ll assume no thieves are reading this; the most toothsome catalytic converters are on older cars (like from the early nineties.)
