Police and faith-based community sponsor summer enrichment program

This summer the Petersburg police together with the local faith-based community will sponsor a Summer Enrichment Program that runs from June 23 to August 8: “While we hope to provide an opportunity for those kids who might not otherwise have the opportunity to take advantage of an organized summer camp, the program is open to all Petersburg residents between the ages of eight and eighteen. Some junior staff positions may be available as well.” Click here for all the details, as well as application and other related forms.

“We will accept applications on Monday June 16th 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the Petersburg Bureau of Police Headquarters located on 37 E. Tabb Street. Spaces are limited. Call Officer Patricia Clements with questions at 479-6056.”

There is no cost to the youth who attend this program.
