Down the road: Moss Motors relocating to Dinwiddie

In today’s P-I: “Moss Motors Ltd., a supplier of specialized vintage auto parts, is moving into the former Nippon Wiper Blade building on Simpson Road just outside Petersburg. The company’s $5.15 million investment will create 90 new jobs.” The article notes that the company will be both opening a distribution center in and relocating its HQ to Dinwiddie.

    Great news for petersburg!

The jobs are there if petersburgers want them. All they have to do is deserve them, which doesn’t just come from being born.

Moss provides parts for the old MG TC, TD and TF series among other vintage cars. I used to order from them for my old TD’s. Moss is known world-wide.

No offense to you, but the way the british have always made cars, Moss motor should have plenty of business for a LONG time…

The old MG’s were among the most fun cars to drive. No offense taken. I know American cars have always been so wonderful,,,no need for repairs ever, just drive & drive & drive…..

This is good news for Dinwiddie. When are they planning to open and when or where are they taking applications.

Hm, maybe Dinwiddie’s office of Economic Development can help with those specifics?
