Bopst, after serving up the likes of Barry White’s take on some piece of PR (I was howling), that most unusual interpretation of NY NY, and Nina Simone’s Feeling Good, you’ve got my ears, next week and thereafter.

BTW, in case you don’t read all the explanatory commentary on RVANews (?!) … head’s up: Bopst, enjoying some new-found creative freedom, has put together a mix (in episodes 1-3 if I follow correctly) that has some occasional verbiage that you might not want to have full volume, say, at work or in front of your future mother-in-law. If you don’t know what to expect, try headphones or one-on-one time while whipping up a masterpiece in the kitchen or some such thing.

Yeah, expect the occassional profanity. It is reflective of my proudly X-rated lifestyle…

Eteral thanks for listening. A greatly appreciate it.

If anyone in this area desrved a podcast for his unique ability to present music from varied genres and touching at one time or another nearly every style of popular music from the inception of recorded music in the early 20th century to today,2008. I have oddly enough, never actually heard Chris’s program. I found out about it six or seven years ago when Richmond.com would publish his playlist.I would look at it every week and stare at the list in dumbfounded amazement that someone would think of creating such a show much less devote themselves to producing it.It is unfortunate about his misfortune at WCLM,but perhaps this new venture will create a larger audience able to listen at their convenience in state of the art digital audio.Bopst is a hero and should be revered and his program supported as such. Thanks for your participation in keeping one of the areas greatest cultural resources available to a grateful audience.

Thank you for your kind words. It’s for you and the thousands of people in the Richmond, Virginia area that crave musical entertainment that isn’t designed to make you dumber that inspired and continues to inspire my music loving show.
