Unsolved homicide

Petersburg’s Bureau of Police is seeking assistance from the community to help solve the murder of DeAndre “Dee” Thomas.

On October 21, 2005 Deandre Thomas told his grandparents that he would call them when he got home. That call never happened. Shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Saturday October 22, 2005, Petersburg Bureau of Police officers responded to the area behind 116 Liberty St. where they discovered the body of Deandre “DEE” Thomas. He had been shot to death.  He was just 18 years old.

While some leads have been developed, the Bureau of Police is still seeking assistance from the community to help solve this crime. ANY INFORMATION IS OF VALUE AT THIS TIME IN THIS CRIME.

If you have information on the murder of DeAndre “DEE” Thomas, please call Petersburg Crime Solvers at 804-861-1212 or 804-732-4222.
