Attorney General McDonnell will tour St. Joseph School on Monday

Attorney General Bob McDonnell will visit St. Joseph School Monday, April 14, at 10:15am. The Attorney General will tour the school with Principal Ruth Bonner, meet the students, and learn more about the challenges the school currently faces.

On the challenges: St. Joseph School, open since 1876, was given a deadline of April 21 to raise $1 million dollars or face permanent closure.

To read about the school and its fiscal situation, check the news coverage at NBC12 or find links to several Progress-Index articles on the subject here.
