This was AWESOME! We went Saturday and had a really great time - we had NO IDEA that (Battersea) was back there! Perfect weather and Lucy gave a wonderful tour (as always) of the house. The reenactment was really fun to watch - I feel sorry for the people who went out there yesterday for the event.
I managed to get a few pictures (FLICKRed ‘em) before my freakin’ camera batteries dies…I guess that’s Murphy’s Law for ya!
I agree withe the AWESOME comment. I think a number of people didn’t know Battersea was back there or who lived there. With over eight hundred in attendance Saturday made this event one of note! I believe it will grow into a majot event in future years. It was really well done overall. However, I looked for a donation barrel and a sign-in/sign-up sheet but didn’t find either. Someone could have increase their e-mailing list for future events.
