Petersburg Public Library is looking for poets and poetry lovers

April is National Poetry Month and the Library wants everyone to join us for two nights of artistic expression. All ages are welcome to share your own poetry or just a poem you love on Monday, April 14 at 7:00 p.m. and meet others who share your enthusiasm for the spoken word. Then join us again on Monday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m. and meet Virginia’s Poet Laureate.

Come to the Petersburg Public Library in April, get in the swing of spring, and express yourself.

Petersburg Public Library, 137 S. Sycamore St.

Call 804-733-2387 (x26) for further information.

I presented poetry there a couple of years ago. It attracts many poets. Folk seem to enjoy the sessions. Good environment. I think I’ll share a line or two this year.
