Happy B-day to PPN

Hey, today is PPN’s one-year anniversary. Our first post was on the March 2007 Friday for the Arts lineup. Since then, we’ve clocked 767 posts, 1218 comments, a redesign that now features images of Petersburg at the top of each page, and membership in a growing network of ‘hoodblogs that together cover a big chunk of the greater Richmond area. I can’t wait to see where this next year takes us.

Great Job nad Happy Birthday, your site expresses situations as it is and allows the people to express their opinions. It is quite interesting how our news media portrays the Friday’s school incident as an act of terrorist and cast a shadow over Petersburg like we are the City of Doom, when it comes down to our youth improving in grades, being accepted in
ivy league universities, receiving achievement awards, etc., where is the news then? We have always had and still have good residents here.
