(Drumroll): Announcing RVANews.com
You may have noticed that the ‘Community Blogs’ list has been growing. Until now, if you’ve wanted to check out what’s going on in Petersburg or in Jackson Ward or in Church Hill or in …, you’ve had to noodle around the various independent ‘hoodblogs. No longer. RVANews.com, brought to you by the innovative folks that launched the tremendously popular RVAblogs.com, will now aggregate the hyperlocal all in one place!!! Pretty nifty, eh? Oh, and this means that more greater Richmond eyeballs get to learn about what’s new and interesting south of the Appomattox. Pretty nifty, x2.
Note that items that may be of interest to the greater Richmond area will be given due attention on the front page; to find every post beamed up to a contributing independent site, go to ‘Literally et cetera’ where the whole enchilada is blogrolled.
And don’t forget to check out the fun original content on RVAnews. :-)
On the site launch, PharrOut co-founder Ross Catrow had this to say: “With the advent of so many fine, young community blogs, we thought it was time to really turn this mother out.”

On this development (and with a cool map), John M speaks.
Links to RVANews.com, and to the latest independent community blog participating in that which is RVANews, River District News, are now available under the ‘Community Blogs’ list in the right column.
