Utopia Spa and Art from the Heart sponsor PHS art contest
Utopia Spa and Art from the Heart will co-sponsor the 2nd Annual Art Contest for the Petersburg High School Students during the weekend of Nostalgiafest, October 5,6,&7. This year the theme is “Portrayals of Petersburg” — the students will be photographing a person that they feel represents Petersburg.
Two prizes will be awarded on Sunday, October 7th, at 2:00 pm. One prize will be awarded to the winning artist chosen by a panel of local judges, the second prize will be awarded to the “People’s Choice” winner.
Please stop by Utopia Spa’s Mini-Spa, 23 W. Old Street, to view this amazing photography, vote for your “Favorite Choice”, and show your support to our budding high school artists!
Art contest hours are: Fri. 6-9pm, Sat. 11-3, & Sun. Noon-3.

You know…. there’s a lot of talk on here about supporting our community, and here’s a “Grass Roots” oportunity to do just that! Nostalgiafest is a great community event, and this Art Contest focuses on our youth! PETERSBURG HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!! I know I’ll be there casting my vote, and showing my support! I hope you’ll all be there too!
