Hey TG — not all readers of this site are from these parts… :-) Anyway, a juice of your choice to the first person to name where each of the above were taken. And if I get some time b/t now and whenever, I may learn how to use googlemaps and provide a map of the locations associated with the pics (got to have goals you know).

Tantrum Tattoo Exit Sign, off Bank Street…. Possibly some Pix from behind the Ironworks Building on Old Street… hmmm, that 4%, could that be the sign on the old bank on the corner of N. Sycamore and Tabb showing interest rates?? :) :) :) Dunno… just guessing :)

The 4% is the sign on the old bank at Tabb and Sycamore, the brown art deco design is The old Butterworths building which is now the Regional Art Center.

Correct on the ‘Exit’ sign by Tantrum Tattoo, the ‘4%’ on the old bank at Tabb/Sycamore, and the ‘crosses’ being part of Butterworth’s signage. :-)

Could that be a beautiful sunset view at the Appomattox River bank?

And… I think the floral shot is one of the flags that are in front of Purple Passion. I’m stumped on the rest! :)

I believe the garden at Andrade’s is home port for the sailor.

Correct on the App. River harbor landscape, on the ‘floral’ shot being a zoom-in of a flag flying outside Purple Passion, and on the sailor being a piece of outdoor art at Andrade’s. :-)
Sooo, those remaining 3 unidentified objects… they *are* in public spaces… If you go to Nostalgiafest, you should encounter one of them without trying, one if you try a little bit, and one if you apply yourself. :-)
Answer to the photo called ‘barber’ (look toward top left):

I just realized — the “7up” and “whirly” hadn’t been ID’d. The period 7-up sign tis the open/closed sign at Alexander’s Restaurant on Bank St. And the pinwheel is (was) out by Tantrum Tattoo.
[...] a “wassit?” you might ask? Thank you for asking. Tis this. Send in your Petersburg-specific photo submissions (with some sort of identifying info please) [...]
It’s a bunch of really cool photos is what it is!
But do you know WHERE they are??
I have to exclude myself as I took some of them!
(All said with a grin)
Well, I’m guessing they’re in Petersburg? ; )
