News from the Rouge — UPDATED
1) Join the folks at Sycamore Rouge September 1 September 8, 10am-6pm, to help with gardening, painting, cleaning, repairing, etc. - snacks, beverages, and limited edition posters to those who attend - call Beth at 804.957.5707 x106 to sign up.
2) The Rouge has received $20,000 from the Cameron Foundation (yay!). The funds will be applied to life-safety and increased seating capacity projects; this means more construction and less programming for the fall, but memberships and subscriptions will be extended — call Beth for details.
3) The September line-up:
Sep 14, Doors Wide Open (jazz)
Sep 15, Flo King (jazz, R&B, motown)
Sep 27-29, Slash Coleman has Big Matzo Balls (a one-man play).
It’s been moced to next week.
