Accepting photos for ‘how well do you know Petersburg’ quiz

The folks at West of the Boulevard News recently posted a photographic pop quiz featuring interesting details from around their stomping ground. ‘Tis a fantastic idea, so I’m stealing it. But since I myself have much to learn about Petersburg, I’m calling on you folks to email me photos with location identifiers. I’ll be accepting photos through Sept 20, when I plan on posting the quiz. Get out there and take some photos!

To answer a question about the photopuzzlers… yes, all of Petersburg is fair game. This is an excuse for you to wander off your everyday path and learn more about the town yourself, with the added bonus of a chance to learn even more from the submissions (and finds) of others.

Suggestion: Take pictures of city properties and Amaram properties and see if we can tell the difference.

I think this is more for fun and arts than social change.

Perhaps our webmistress will give us a place to post problem pictures?

    TG4360 has it right.

The energy folks are putting into effecting good in the community (see other posts) is great. But we also need to take time to simply have fun.

This city is rich in geological and historical history, to say nothing of the architecture. Call this my effort to give us all an excuse to get out there and (re)discover what’s in town and share our finds with others.

Three weeks til the photopuzzlers go up: Point. Click. Submit. :-)
