Petersburg ad agency promotes Michelle Olgers to Executive VP
Hall + Partners Communication Architects of Petersburg, VA, has named Michelle Olgers as the companyís Executive Vice President. Formerly Hall + Partnersí Director of Account Services, Olgers will manage many of the agencyís local and national accounts, and assist with the creative and tactical functions of clientsí image and branding campaigns. As head of the agencyís Client Services Division, Olgers will also continue to serve as senior staff copywriter and assist the agency with new business development.

With close to 20 years of experience working on both the client and agency side of the marketing and public relations table, Michelle has developed a wealth of marketing experience. Prior to working at Hall + Partners, Olgers was the Marketing Director of Pamplin Historical Park & The National Museum of the Civil War Soldier, where she was responsible for publicly launching the new $25-million historical attraction. She also served as a Marketing Specialist for Virginiaís Department of Conservation and Recreation, where she helped market the commonwealthís award-wining state parks system; and as Assistant Public Information Officer at The Brooklyn Museum of Art, the nationís fifth-largest art museum.
Olgers received a B.A. in English and Art History from Mount Holyoke College in MA. A native of Brooklyn, NY, she is currently a resident of Sutherland, VA, where she and her husband, Darrell, continue to preserve and open to the public their 204-year-old plantation home, Fork Inn. She is also mother to their 4-year-old daughter, Emma.
An avid fox hunter and horse rider, Olgers is a member of Reedy Creek Hounds, of McKenney, VA. She raises English Mastiffs, Lowline miniature cattle and heirloom chickens in her spare time at her farm at Fork Inn.
