Set against swirling abstract backgrounds, Orlosky’s finely rendered subjects appear adrift in the inner oceans of the mind, retinal burns carefully stored for their eventual decoding. In turn poetic, shocking, and controversial, Orlosky’s unfettered creations explore the dark side of American politics, drawing intriguing parallels through his unconventional iconography and challenging each viewer with their relevance and potency.
