June brings the lazy days of summer, & millions of photographers taking vacation photographs using today�s extraordinary digital cameras. June also brings us a wave of exhibits by remarkable photographers�Susan Reed at The Oak, Freddi Stevens-Jacobi at Therapeutic Massage, Joey Dunovant & Sascha Pflaeging at the new Sol Cooper Gallery, Sara Jordan & Marti Peterson at the Petersburg Regional Art Center. This month also brings fine new exhibits by Vinnie Gonzalez at the Art League, Kymberley Keniston-Pond at Java Mio, Pam Roberts at The Retreat Spa, Julian Greene at the library, Marjorie Jackson at Purple Passion, & Evelyn Quaye at the Cockade City Grill. Quaye�s exhibit, which will be a first for the Grill, will feature paintings & drawings of musicians performing in the Grill & elsewhere. Moosa at Wabi-Sabi & the Candlelight Concert at St. Paul�s are the musical headliners, but don�t miss the Governor�s School Jazz Band at Sycamore Rouge or the Dixie�s expansion to two bands, with music from 6:00 pm to 1:30 am.
