Uniform Fair, June 2, Walnut Hill Elementary
Beginning in fall 2007, all of Petersburgís elementary school students will wear uniforms to school; middle school students will begin wearing uniforms in the fall of 2008.† Come to Walnut Hill Elementary School [map]†June 2, 1-5pm, to vote on the uniforms’ color schemes.
Vendors will be available to show you the proposed uniforms and to give you prices.

Parking will be available in the front and rear of the school.

NBC12 reminds the community that the School Board is expected to announce the “winning color scheme” for school uniforms tonight.
From PPS’ Public Info. Officer, Cliff Davis:
Dr. Kenneth Lewis, Petersburg School Board Ward 5 Representative and
Uniform Committee Facilitator, will speak briefly at tonight’s School
Board Meeting regarding the results of last week’s Uniform Fair. He will
indicate the color scheme that most parents picked on Saturday, and also
have on hand a draft of the copy of the proposed policy.
