Get free help from the Phoenix Project this summer
This summer the Phoenix Project is bringing 35 undergraduate and graduate students from across Virginia to Petersburg to help with community-identified projects. To learn more about the services these students can provide, the Phoenix Project will host information sessions May 15, 5:30-7pm, and May 19, 10:30-12pm.
Marion Forsyth, Associate Director of the Phoenix Project, writes:
The students are excited to work on a variety of projects for local organizations, including developing marketing plans, conducting research, writing grants, planning events, and more. Imagine having extra hands and minds this summer to finish that long neglected project that would really move your organization forward. Our students stand ready to work with you to accomplish your goals.
The Phoenix Project is hosting two community information sessions this month to talk with folks in more detail about the services that our students can provide this summer. We hope you will join us for one of them:
May 15 from 5:30pm-7:00pm
or
May 19 from 10:30am-12:00pm
Each session will be held at the Phoenix Project’s Petersburg office on the first floor of the Historic Petersburg Foundation building at 420 Grove Avenue. Please send an email to let us know that you are coming!
You do NOT have to attend a session to propose a project for the summer. We are accepting project suggestions through our website. More information is available at our online form.
We look forward to working with you, and our students look forward to learning from you this summer!
